When a client calls at midnight: criminal law for non-criminal lawyers

Criminal law for non criminal lawyers flyer

You don’t practice in crime, you may never practice in crime.

But criminal law is a fundamental area of law that crosses over into many practice areas and this session focuses on preparing the non-criminal lawyer for those inevitable criminal law crises.

Join Women Lawyers of Western Australia as we hear experienced criminal lawyers Mara Barone and Alana Padmanabham address some of the criminal law fundamentals for the non-criminal lawyer, and share their perspectives on dealing with unexpected crises that have arisen in their criminal law careers.

Participants are encouraged to come prepared with questions and comments for presenters.
