WLWA presents awards to outstanding women lawyers in a number of categories. The Woman Lawyer of the Year Awards are announced at our annual Honours Dinner held in March each year.

Awards are not always presented each year.

The awards recognise women who have made an outstanding contribution in their various careers, whether or not their career has led to the traditional route of partnership, taking silk or an appointment to the bench. In this way, we recognise achievement and success that may not have been otherwise recognised.
